What is digital artisty?

as defined by: Jason Morin.

Digital artistry, like most art, I assume is really 2 part. The first being its use in advertising and the second being its use to convey a message or tell a story for non-monetary reasons.  I do both.

Digital Imagery (including photography)

Using programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, and occasionally a few others, I compose images.  Unlike the "old school", which I might add I have MUCH respect for, todays computers and software offer the ability to do things that are:

  1. more efficient
  2. more experimental
  3. corrective

Imagine for a second that as a painter you could instantly change a group of colors in a painting, or maybe even instantaneously try EVERY COLOR within a million color palette!

Scripting and Scripting

A script is what we use here behind the scenes to perform certain functions with in the website. If we have to dig in a database for info to display on the screen we have to speak the language of the computers. They just love scripture and they don't sin... I think.

The other script is used to interact with your visitor in their language. Any body can get traffic to a site, its what you do with your visitors that counts. Motion graphics, video, audio, captivating imagery and useful information are all used in conjunction with each other to get your message across.

Our company will bring these two together for you, this is one of our crafts.

Marketing and management.

Now that your website is built, don't let it just sit there. If the site never changes, why would anyone come back? We have a product that'll will let you be the writer of your site, think business blog!  If your time is better spent running the real world end of things, let us do it.  We can perform graphics handling tasks and ad creation for print as well as web. We can manage your search engine rankings as well and even produce timely marketing reports.

There are even ways to test the effectability of print advertising, or specific advertising campaigns.
